John Cena has urged people to learn about skin care symptoms following his diagnosis.
The WWE star revealed that he has been twice diagnosed with skin cancer, as he warned people to ensure they use suncream.
The 47-year-old admitted that he is paying the price for 'never' wearing sun protection.
He confessed that throughout his childhood in Massachusetts and his later life in Florida, he 'neglected' the protection of his skin.
Speaking to People, the professional wrestler shared: "I had a cancerous spot removed from my right pec.
"A year later I went back and had another spot removed close to my right shoulder.
"It shows up like a white polka dot on the side of my chest and on my shoulder. If you watch WWE, you'll be able to see them," he added.
Cena wishes to now spread awareness for the symptoms of skin cancer, as well as urging people to take steps to prevent it.
He has teamed with Neutrogena on a facial suncream campaign.
The brand thought of his iconic 'You Can’t See Me' hand gesture when to launching their new face suncreen, due to its invisible finish.
The ‘Sunscreen You Can’t See’ campaign for the Ultra Sheer Mineral Face Liquid Sunscreen SPF 70 stars the 16 time world champion as well as dermatologist and skin cancer surgeon Dr. Neera Nathan.
It's not just comedy used in campaign by Cena, but it's also his way of sharing the importance of sun protection.
