Users on X have been left stunned by a letter that Donald Trump sent to Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru, with some comparing it to a "fifth grader".
The letter outlines the tariffs that the USA will impose on Japanese goods, as Trump invites Ishiba to "participate in the extraordinary Economy of the United States, the Number One Market in the World, by far".
The letter features several words being randomly capitalised, particularly "TRADE".
Trump also outlines the "Tariff" that the USA will impose on Japan, saying: "Starting on August 1 2025, we will charge Japan a Tariff of only 25% on any and all Japanese products sent into the United States, separate from Sectoral Tariffs".
He later warns that if the Japanese raise their tariffs, then "whatever number you choose to raise them by, will be added onto the 25% that we charge".
A screenshot of the letter was uploaded to X by user @JayinKyiv with the caption: "This was written today by the President of the United States, not a 5th grader. Incredible."
Several users commented on the bizarre letter.
One person said: "Why were capitalization rules not enforced when he was in grade school or Univ of Penn?"
Another commented: "Please tell me this letter is fake. If this is real, why wouldn’t anyone around him not edit it?"
One user wrote: "Somebody needs to monitor and revise as necessary so he does not look like an uneducated fool. Not so much for Trump, as he is what he is, but for the people of the US. WE are not stupid and uneducated. Grammar school children write better."

Why Google wants to release 32,000,000 infected mosquitoes into the wild
It’s not quite as crazy as it sounds Google wants to release 32,000,000 disease-infected mosquitoes into the wild.
