Paul Pogba has sent Man United fans into meltdown after posting a cryptic transfer hint to Instagram.
The World Cup winning midfielder and former United star has been once again back in the spotlight as he closes in on a return to football.
The Frenchman was banned from football in 2023 after he tested positive for dehydroepiandrosterone.
This came after he left Man United on a free in 2022, but also saw his contract terminated at Juventus in 2024.
Ultimately, this left the 31-year-old without a club and now he has posted a cryptic hint to Instagram, suggesting where he might go next.
Posting to his Instagram story, Pogba put up a drawing which showed the player in a United shirt alongside current Red Devils star Amad Diallo.
He followed this up with a picture, captioned "Let's see what's coming".
This led to fans going into meltdown, believing Pogba could be making a return to Manchester, a divisive topic among fans.
One person wrote on X: "Is signing Pogba a logical decision? NO. Should we sign him? NO. Would I be excited if we sign him? HELL YES."
Another fan commented: "I don’t care what anyone says, i’m taking Pogba back in a heartbeat"
However, not everyone is convinced as one fan alluded to the past and said: "Selling Paul Pogba was one of the best things Manchester United did. Signing Paul Pogba back will be the worst thing Manchester United will ever do."
Pogba remains a free agent and can return to football from March.
