Crowds for "March for Our Lives" exceeded expectations and reached 800,000 people according to reports, dwarfing President Trump's inauguration figure of roughly 500,000 and becoming one of the largest political rallies in America since the Vietnam war era, with separate demonstrations taking place across all 50 states of the country and elsewhere across the globe.
