'Cosy' MySims is a popular Nintendo classic

A hugely popular 'nostalgic' Nintendo Switch game has been discounted on Amazon for a limited time.

MySims: Cosy Bundle has dropped in price by 40% to just £20.99, and is compatible with the original console and the recently released Switch 2.

The bundle is a re-release of two much-loved games, My Sims and My Sims Kingdom, which allow players to create their own character and discover creative adventures.

Players are in charge of a redeveloping town that's become run down, and they must customise their sims and decorate the worlds around them, plus as you complete different tasks and puzzles you can unlock plenty more options and characters.

It was originally released in 2007 as a spin-off to the iconic The Sims franchise for the Wii and Nintendo DS.

MySims went on to sell more than 4 million copies and was re-released for the Nintendo Switch in late 2024.

The original game was followed up by a number of sequels including Party, Racing, Agents and SkyHeroes, with fans hoping for future re-releases that will be playable with the Switch console.

The game has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from more than 400 customers on Amazon, who have described it as "nostalgic" and "cosy".

One five-star review said: "As a millennial, when I saw this advertised to be re-released I was over the moon. And it surpassed my expectations.

"The one concern I had was that I remembered the load screens being very long back in the day, but now they're much shorter than they once were. Other than that, everything is exactly the same. Whether it's a nostalgia play through or your first time playing, everyone will adore this cozy, cute game."

Another said: "Great fun and just like the original versions. Love that it's so easy to use."
