Multiple injured as Delta Air Lines plane flips upside down and crashes in Toronto

Shocking footage shows the plane upside down on the tarmac with its wings missing.

The news is still emerging, however it is thought that eight people have been injured in the incident as per CTV News. 

One child and two adults are reportedly critically injured.

The Delta plane is a CRJ-900 flying from Minneapolis to Toronto Pearson airport.

Taking to X, Toronto Pearson acknowledged the incident, saying "Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis.

"Emergency teams are responding."

"All passengers and crew are accounted for."

This breaking news follows on from a spate of plane crashes in the Untied States.

The NTSB is currently investigating into multiple plane crashes in recent weeks across the US and North America.

This follows a fatal crash at Washington Reagan airport in which a CRJ-700 aircraft crashed in the air with a military helicopter, resulting in the deaths of 67 people.
