Met Office warns UK will go from hotter than Ibiza to colder than Iceland as snow hits

Don't pack away those winter coats just yet

Just as the UK enjoys the sun, forecasters have warned that we could see temperatures plummet as snow is expected to fall later this week. Starting on March 28, cold winds are expected to arrive in the UK. Temperatures are predicted to gradually fall over the coming days, from highs of 14C today to 6 or 7C at around Thursday. "From Thursday has possible frequent wintry showers across the North, with further South having some showers and perhaps hill snow with a small chance of this reaching low levels." People have been reacting to the weather news online, where they are presumably livid at the sudden drop in climate. "Can we not... I've just planted a load of seeds," wrote one Twitter user.
