Meghan Markle set to ‘scoop top award at 2022 GQ Men Of The Year Awards’

The whole ceremony has apparently been rescheduled so the royals can make it

Meghan Markle is set to take home a prestigious award at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, reports suggest, in recognition of her widespread charity work. Speaking to The Sun, an unnamed source said the Duchess of Sussex, 41, is rumoured to scoop “one of the top award of the evening” at the event at London's Tate Modern on November 16. On their wedding day, they selected seven organisations which “represent[ed] a range of issues that they are passionate about”, including the Children’s HIV Association (CHIVA), Crisis, Surfers Against Sewage and The Wilderness Foundation UK. And after announcing their exit from the Royal Family, the couple launched their own non-profit organisation, Archewell, through which they donate to various charities. The award rumours come after a royal expert suggested Meghan may finally be ready to consider returning to the UK and will feel "validated" by the warm public reception she received in the days after the Queen died.
