Sounds tasty

McDonald’s is adding a new burger to its menus next week.

The new mouth-watering Chilli Double Cheeseburger will arrive in 1,300 stores from Wednesday, November 6.

The burger will cost just £2.49 and will sit on the fast-food giant’s Saver Menu.

The tasty new item will feature 100% British and Irish beef patties, two slices of cheese, onions, jalapenos, pickles and spicy relish in a toasted bun.

Along with this news, McDonald’s revealed it is shaking up its budget savers range.

Drinks will now be added to the menu with all items costing under £3.

More discounted and value schemes have been rolled out in recent weeks.

Earlier this month, it launched a £5 meal deal letting customers choose from two different burgers and chicken nuggets along with a medium drink and fries.

This would typically cost £7.46 but customers can save £2.50 if they choose this option.

The deal is not available at all locations and is not available via delivery.

The latest news comes after they launched a Halloween menu which includes a toasted marshmallow latte.

Also on the menu is a brand new cheese side and a Halloween M&M’s McFlurry.

These are seasonal menu items so if you are keen to try them out you better act quick.

The fast-food chain also recently brought back the McRib burger after a hiatus of nearly a decade.

Though fans were initially delighted by the news, some were left disappointed when it returned to stores.

One customer said: “It’s not the same. Its dry little sauce on top nothing like the pic or what it used to be shame on McDonald’s.”

It is currently on sale for £4.49 as an individual item or £6.19 as part of a medium extra-value meal deal, which also includes fries and a medium drink.
