McDonald’s makes major menu change today with seven new items

Some never-before-seen items are arriving

From today (Wednesday, October 18), seven brand new items will be on the Maccies menu, including two new burgers - the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse and the Philly Cheese Stack.

The McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse is made up of 100 per cent chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion, lettuce, all in a delicious sourdough style sesame topped bun.

Meanwhile, the Philly Cheese Stack delivers the ultimate cheesy experience with two succulent beef patties with a cheese sauce, two cheese slices, grilled and crispy onions and pickles served in a toasted bun.

And there's more for you cheese lovers, with Chilli Cheese Bites returning to the menu as well.

Each portion contains four chilli cheese bites in a crispy batter served alongside a rich tomato dip.

There's some brand new desserts for those of you with a sweet tooth as well, that are themed around the upcoming spooky season.

The new menu sees the addition of four limited-edition dessert items featuring two spooky McFlurrys, and a brand new toffee twist on McDonald’s classic apple pie – Toffee Apple Pie.

The new McFlurry flavours are a Twix Toffee Apple McFlurry, featuring a Twix biscuit with chocolate pieces and apple sauce, and a M&M's Halloween McFlurry, soft dairy ice cream swirled with M&Ms and Halloween sugar shapes and topped with Galaxy Chocolate sauce.

Along with the Toffee Apple Pie, which is the classic crispy pastry filled with a spiced apple compote & toffee sauce and toffee pieces, the Toffee Apple Donut is also hitting menus. This is a ring donut filled with toffee apple compote, topped with crumble pieces & toffee sauce.

And if that wasn't enough, Maccies are also offering a new meal deal option for nuggets fans.

For the first time ever, customers will be able to opt for a 9-piece Chicken McNuggets meal.

These will be available in McDonald's restaurants from October 18 to November 21.
