McDonald's have announced that one of their most beloved menu items has been quietly discontinued.
The Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap has been axed as part of a "rotation" of the fast food giant's menu.
Launched back in 2023, the wrap combined chicken breast strips, crispy onions, rashers of bacon and lettuce.
A spokesperson for the Golden Arches said: "As part of our regular wrap rotation, we've taken the Caesar wrap off the menu for now.
"We're always evolving our menu with our customers in mind to keep things fresh and exciting."
Fans of McDonald's have not taken the news well.
Writing on Reddit, one user said: "Where has it gone? Please don’t tell me it’s discontinued. It’s the best one of them all!"
Another wrote: "What the hell?! Why’s this not been publicised anywhere. It was the best one of all of them. I can’t believe they’ve decided to go with the katsu over it. How can I complain?"
Someone else commented that it would be joining a long list of other discontinued Maccies meals.
They said: "Gone to join the likes of the pulled pork wrap, peri-peri wrap, buffalo wrap and the garlic mayo wrap in the Big M in the sky."
Someone else said: "It was the only good one in this current line up, I'll glady die in this hill."
However, McDonald's regularly shake up their menus and are always bringing back old fan favourites.
So, if it was one of your go-to items on the menu there is a chance that the wrap may not be gone forever.
