In the last hour, news emerged that the legendary Catherine O'Hara had sadly died at the age of 71.
O'Hara was perhaps best known for her role in the first two Home Alone films as Macaulay Culkin's mother.
She also appeared in over 80 episodes of Schitt's Creek.
Macaulay Culkin paid tribute to O'Hara on Instagram, writing: "Mama. I thought we had time. I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you. But I had so much more to say.
"I love you. I’ll see you later."
TMZ report that the actress died today though the cause of her death remains unknown.
O'Hara won an Emmy Award for her role in Schitt's Creek in 2020.
Her most recent work was opposite Seth Rogen in The Studio, for which she earned another Emmy nomination.
Catherine was 71.
