London Bridge evacuated amid suspected terror threat

London Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the area around Tooley Street has been evacuated in the capital.

The area near London Bridge train station was evacuated after a suspicious item was found at the address. Police say that specialist officers are in attendance, while a number of offices have been cleared and the road is closed to traffic. London Bridge train station remains open.
