After a shambolic victory against Dillon Danis, Logan Paul has called out the next person he wants to fight.
Paul, who stepped into the ring for the first time since going the distance in an exhibition match against Floyd Mayweather in June 2021, defeated Danis - an MMA fighter - by disqualification on Saturday.
The fight ended in a mass brawl at the AO Arena in Manchester with the final round descending into chaos after Danis, 30, attempted to take Paul down with a guillotine move. Paul, the older brother of Jake, tried to punch his opponent while on the ground.
Initially, one security guard entered the ring, but he was soon followed by about 30 others. Danis started throwing punches at them, and Jake also got involved.
It was Danis' first boxing match, although he has competed in MMA for four years. Paul, 28, had one loss to his name, a 2019 split-decision loss to KSI, who was initially lined up to fight Danis but withdrew.
After the fight, Paul called Danis out, describing him as a "dirty human being."
"He's supposed to be good at jiu-jitsu. What happened bro?
"I stopped the takedown he tired. He tried to do a Guillotine and I'm sorry I missed that hammer fist. Ooh, that would have been good.
"I'm sorry it ended that way y'all. Dillon Danis truly is a coward, a dirty, dirty human being."
Before the pair even got in the ring, Danis had gone after Paul's fiancée, Nina Agdal, posting a series of cruel tweets.
Moments after the win, Paul suggested he was already preparing to get in the ring again, and this time wants to fight WWE’s Rey Mysterio.
Hitting out at the Mexican wrestling legend, Paul told the media: “This is a hobby for me… My true passion, I’m a WWE superstar. … I’m an American boy, and I want that US title. Rey Mysterio, I already beat you once and I’m coming for that U.S. championship.”
Mysterio hit straight back, tweeting: “Did @loganpaul just call me out? I’m not hard to find homie,” Mysterio posted on X. “Every Friday Night on SmackDown."
Paul is set to return to wrestling next month.
