Kneecap called out the BBC and Keir Starmer during their set at Glastonbury today, with the stage closed off to festivalgoers 45 minutes before they played.
One of the band members Móglaí Bap said that the crowd was the biggest that they have ever played to.
The Guardian reported that when the band took to the stage, they led the audience in a chant of "Free Mo Chara", which is in relation to the rapper who has been charged with terror offences.
Addressing such offences, they said: "Mo Chara in court on a trumped up terrorism charge – not the first time there was a miscarriage of justice for an Irish person in the British justice system."
He is due to appear at court again on August 20 and the group urged fans to show up and show their support for him as they did earlier this month.
They went on to say "F**k Keir Starmer - you're just a s**t Jeremy Corbyn."
They also took digs at the Daily Mail with similar words.
The crowd was full of Palestinian flags which Mo Chara referred to saying "that’s going to give the BBC editor a headache."
Chants of "Free Palestine" were heard throughout.
The set was not shown on the BBC iPlayer live and will instead be shown later this evening.
Bob Vylan, who played before the Belfast group, showed solidarity with them earlier in the day.
He said: “We are seeing some f****d up things happening in the world; we are seeing the UK and the US be complicit in war crimes, in genocide happening over there to the Palestinian people.
“Look, I know we are on the BBC and we aren’t going to say anything crazy, we can leave that for them lads [Kneecap].”
