JLS’ Oritsé Williams is being questioned over an alleged rape

Former JLS star Oritsé Williams has been arrested and bailed over claims he raped a woman in Wolverhampton in the UK.

The singer has been accused of raping a fan after a gig he performed at. According to The Mirror, Williams met the 20-year-old fan at the Gorgeous nightclub. The waitress who reported the crime allegedly told the authorities that she went to Oritsé's hotel room with a friend, where Oritsé and his male friend were staying. Shortly after leaving the hotel room, the reported victim realised she forgot her purse, and upon returning to the hotel room, was raped by Oritsé. A source close to the alleged victim said:

"The girl and her friend are both massive JLS and Oritsé fans. Apparently Oritsé wasn’t drinking at the club... "One of the girls knocked on the door saying she wanted to retrieve her stuff and was let back in, it’s then she says she was raped. "Police were called to the hotel shortly afterwards to a report of rape and Williams was arrested there."

Local police have confirmed they are investigating the alleged crime which allegedly happened on the 2nd December.

"West Midlands Police were called to a Wolverhampton hotel at 7.45am on Friday December 2 after an allegation of rape and sexual assault was made by a 20-year-old woman,” they said. "A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and a 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. "Both men have been bailed until February, pending further enquiries."
