The Commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, Hossein Salami, has threatened Israel over whispers of a military strike in the Middle East.
US officials warned that Israel is deliberating a hit on Iran's nuclear resources without the support of Washington.
According to them, the Israelis have been backed into a corner as they fear that either no deal or a thin deal on Iran's nuclear programme will be reached between US President Donald Trump and the Islamic Republic.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian claimed that the country would simply rebuild the programme if Israel wiped it out.
"Even if they destroy our facilities with bombs, the knowledge and capability remain in our minds - and we will rebuild whatever they destroy," said Pezeshkian (via The Jerusalem Post).
Meanwhile, Iran's Defense Minister General Aziz Nasirzadeh also warned today (June 12) that the Americans must flee the region if any conflict breaks out, "because all its bases are within our range and we will target all of them in the host countries regardless."
Major Salami went on to add: "If our hands are untied, we will win victories that will make the enemy regret its actions."
For now though, the world awaits the sixth round of nuclear talks set to go ahead in Oman this weekend.
In lighter news, President Trump was heckled by theatre fans while he watched the opening performance of Les Misérables at the John F Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts yesterday (June 11).
