There's always one isn't there. One completely random campmate who manages to embed themselves into the hearts and minds of all across the nation.
Once upon a time it was cheeky chappy Joe Swash, then we had Vicky Pattison and Scarlett Moffatt, and now we've got Sam Thompson.
After a week and a half in the jungle, Sam Thompson is the bookies and people's favourite.
The former Made in Chelsea star once claimed that he'd stop appearing on reality shows if he ever got to go into the jungle because it's a "really nice way to go out" and now it looks like all his dreams could come true.
When asked if he would take part in I'm A Celeb, Thompson said: “I think I’ve probably come to near the end of my TV stuff. I’ve done a lot, that would probably be the last one. I feel like that would be a really nice way to go out.”
Thompson did say that he wasn't even worried about going into the jungle, saying that he isn't scared of being badly edited.
He explained: "You can’t edit someone’s personality. You can’t do it. You can’t give someone a different personality. They still have the traits they have.
“What you can do is cut down what they’ve said, because obviously it’s got to fit into a certain amount of time. It’s funny when people panic and go, ‘Oh, the edit has done me dirty there.’ No, you’ve done you dirty. They can’t put a word in your mouth. You have said that.
“No one else has said that. Just because you’re bummed out that bit has got in, that’s not anyone else’s fault, that’s got to be your fault right?”
But will Sam make it to the very end and be crowned King of the Jungle? Only time will tell.

OPINION: Starmer was wrong in a world that doesn’t know how to be right
Starmer failed because modern politics no longer rewards competence. It rewards performance. Sir Keir Starmer announced his resignation today, bringing to an end a premiership that was as relentlessly criticised as it was quietly consequential. In an address to the nation on Monday morning from Downing Street, Starmer gave an emotional speech in which he […]
