Child killer, Ian Huntley, is fighting for his life after being attacked in prison, according to reports.
Huntley, who is now 52, is serving life in prison for the murder of 10-year-olds Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, at his home in Soham.
The Daily Mail report that Huntley has been airlifted to hospital after being targeted in the attack on his prison wing this morning.
Huntley was found in a pool of blood after the incident at HMP Frankland, Durham.
The incident happened at 9am this morning.
The Sun reports that the killer is in a 'touch and go' condition.
Huntley's victims were two best friends who had gone out to buy sweets when he lured them into his cottage.
Their disappearance sparked shockwaves across the nation.
