Evans starred on the Australian soap back in 1997, playing a role of a student.
He later went on to work in PR, founding his own company, Evans Media, in 2005 when he was 24-years-old.
Evans was found dead at his home in a luxury block of flats in Sydney.
A cause and date of his death is yet to be confirmed, per OK Magazine.
In a statement to the Daily Mail, police said: "Officers from Kings Cross Police Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner regarding the death of a 43-year-old man at a unit in Darlinghurst on 4 September 2024."
They added: "Police will not be making any further comment about the matter."
His friend Daniel Dan Wootton, a fitness entrepreneur, paid tribute to Evans on social media.
"RIP Jai Evans. Another beautiful friend taken much too soon before his time," he wrote.
"Your vibrant energy and eagerness to help was second to none. Rest easy, Jai. Love you, mate."
