Home Alone star Catherine O'Hara's cause of death has been confirmed.
The Canadian-American actress died at her home in Los Angeles last month.
She was 71.
O'Hara, who famously played Kevin's mother, Kate McCallister, in the first two Home Alone films had a huge career in the world of Hollywood.
She had roles in Beetlejuice, There Goes The Neighbourhood, and Wyatt Earp.
However many also remember her from Schitt's Creek, as well as her most recent role in The Studio.
Last night, the cause of her death was confirmed as a pulmonary embolism, which is when a blood clot blocks an artery in the lungs.
The Los Angeles County death certificate added that rectal cancer was the long-term cause.
The oncologist who had signed off on the death certificate said he had been treating O'Hara since March 2025 and last saw her on January 27, just days before her death on January 30.
