Harvey Elliot appeared to hide the St George's flag on his England shirt during England's Under-21 game against Azerbajan on Friday.
England unveiled their new shirt earlier this week and after initial backlash over the price of the kit, fans have also lost their minds about what’s on the back.
Instead of the usual traditional red cross, Nike replaced it with a “playful update” of navy, light blue and purple colours.
It’s led to people labelling the kit as “woke” and even Keir Starmer chimed in, saying: “The flag is used by everybody, it is a unifier, it doesn’t need to be changed.”

Prime minister Rishi Sunk also said “not to mess” with the flag.
Both Nike and the Football Association have defended the decision and insisted that they will not change the kit.
The Under-21s side wore the kit for the first time, of which Elliot was a part of.
Elliot scored the opening goal in their 6-1 win however many noticed that his collar was up to hide the St George's flag.
His decision to hide the flag is only likely to cause further debate surrounding the shirt.
Meanwhile, in matters on the pitch, Lee Carsley's side convincingly won the game.
As well as Elliot's brace, the young Three Lions found the back of the net via Noni Madueke, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Jaden Philogene and Archie Gray.
