At just 51 years old, Gwyneth Paltrow is growing tired of working life and setting her sights on retirement.
However, unlike many A-listers when they decide it's time to wave goodbye to the camera for the last time, Paltrow claims she'll never be seen again.
What that means, only time will tell, but it sure sounds like Paltrow is opting to enjoy her millions away from the bright lights of celebrity life and reside quietly and happily in the shadows.
While known for her roles in Seven, Sliding Doors, Shakespeare in Love, The Talented Mr Ripley, and, of course, The Avengers movies, Paltrow also has a side hustle as the founder of Goop.
The somewhat controversial wellness company, which made a name for itself with its vaginal scented candles, was thought to be worth around £200 million back in 2019 meaning Paltrow certainly won't be struggling when she hangs up her boots.
That being said Paltrow has announced that she isn't overly fussed about money (neither would I if I had £200m in the bank) but instead she simply wants peace of mind.
In an interview with Bustle, Paltrow said of her retirement: "I will literally disappear from public life… No one will ever see me again.”
Paltrow said that when she retires she will also consider selling Goop too saying: "I'd be happy with that.
“[I love] creating, collaborating, being struck with new ideas, innovating, thinking ahead, strategy, vision, that kind of thing.
"Money has never been my thing. It’s never been my driver."
It seems like retirement has been on Gwyneth's mind for quite some time as recently enough she confessed that she uses her Oscar for Shakespeare In Love as a doorstopper of all things.
Sure seems like she's ready to call it a day.
