The transcript of the call was leaked to local media

Details have emerged of the emergency calls a Buenos Aires hotel manager made requesting ‘urgent’ assistance before death of Liam Payne.

Overnight, emergency services confirmed they had been called to the hotel after they were ‘informed of an aggressive man who may have been under the effects of drugs and alcohol’.

Emergency services arrived on scene to find that Payne had suffered a 40-foot fall from his balcony at the hotel where the former One Direction star was staying.

The head of the Buenos Aires’ SAME emergency medical service, Alberto Crescenti told local television that Payne had suffered ‘very serious injuries incompatible with life as a result of his fall’ and there was ‘no possibility of resuscitation’.

Now, Sky News have obtained the full transcript of a 911 call made shortly before Payne's death.

The 911 call goes as follows:

Since news of his death broke, tributes have come flooding in from those he worked with.

Fellow X Factor stars Jedward wrote: “RIP Liam Payne. Condolences to friends and family.”

Meanwhile, US pop star Charlie Puth, who previously worked with Payne on his song Bedroom Floor, penned: “I am in shock right now.

“Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I cannot believe he is gone.”

Former X Factor host, Dermot O’Leary said: “The worst news. I remember him as a 14 year old turning up to audition on The X Factor, and blowing us away singing Sinatra. He just loved to sing.

“He was always a joy, had time for everyone, polite, grateful, and was always humble. Sending love and prayers to his family.”

Payne rose to fame as part of One Direction, who formed on the X Factor in 2010. They released hit after hit and became one of the biggest bands in the world before they went on Hiatus in 2016.

Payne went on to launch a solo career, achieving a top 5 hit with his first single ‘Strip That Down’ in 2017.

He made the top 10 again with the song ‘For You’ which he sang with Rita Ora. His only solo album, LP1, was released in 2019.
