Police have now confirmed that they are investigating a fire at Keir Starmer's house this morning.
The fire took place at the Prime Minister's house in the early hours of this morning.
While nobody was hurt during the fire, the entrance to Starmer's house was damaged in the blaze.
A statement from the Metropolitan Police said: : "On Monday 12 May at 1.35am, police were alerted by the London Fire Brigade to reports of a fire at a residential address.
"Officers attended the scene. Damage was caused to the property's entrance, nobody was hurt.
"The fire is being investigated and cordons remain in place while enquiries continue. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101."
