Fabinho could see his move from Liverpool to Saudi Arabia break down because of one reason: his dogs.
The Brazilian is expected to follow Jordan Henderson out of the exit door at Anfield and join Al Ittihad in a deal estimated to be worth £40m.
Liverpool meanwhile have been preparing for their departures in the midfield department and have signed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai while the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, James Milner and Arthur Melo have all departed.
But any move for Fabinho hinges on whether he will be allowed to bring his dogs into the country.
According to reports, the 29-year-old's breed of dog are banned due to an alleged law in relation to "dangerous and aggressive dogs".
In a document leaked to Twitter titled: "Bringing pets to Saudi Arabia," is states that dogs are only permitted to enter the country if they are enter if they are used for: "hunting, serve as a guard dog or if they are 'seeing-eye dogs' (for the blind)".
Fabinho has two French bulldogs however it is unknown if they are on the banned list. Rottweilers and pit bulls are two examples of dog breeds that are banned.
Al Ittihad have been one of the most active clubs in Saudi Arabia this summer.
Managed by Nuno Espírito Santo, they have already signed Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kanté and Jota this summer and plan to make more additions.
