Emi Martinez made a rare mistake as he conceded a horrendous own goal in the opening minutes of Aston Villa's game against Liverpool.
A win for Villa will see them qualify for Champions League football but they made the worst possible start just two minutes into the game.
Mohamed Salah's run down the wing saw him feed a through ball into Harvey Elliot who then crossed to find Luis Diaz and at first it looked as if Martinez had caught the ball before it slipped out of his hands and into the back of the net.
It was a rare error from the World Cup winner who before the game was praised by Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher for being one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Youri Tielemans however did respond with a well-placed finish after Ollie Watkins' great run picked out the Belgian to equalise for Villa.
Should Villa lose the game it would also pave the way for Spurs to close the gap to one point if they were to beat Manchester City on Tuesday night.
