Dutch driver tries to jump this swing bridge…it doesn’t end well (Video)

This Dutch driver might have been watching too many Hollywood films.

You know the ones where there's a ludicrous car chase and the hero jumps the bridge and makes a perfect landing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzCIbhLUUA0 But it turns out Hollywood has horribly lied to us. The 56-year-old Dutch motorist went for the big jump, but fell spectacularly short and ended up in the briny. How he only escaped with broken ribs, we'll never know.
