Donald Trump is now officially the US Republican presidential nominee

Well, it seems he's officially done it.

However it was only earlier today that he officially sealed the deal. It takes 1,237 delegates to win the Republican nomination for president, and Trump has now received one more than that, at just 1,238 delegates. https://twitter.com/TheFix/status/735848286574252032 Despite being hugely controversial and widely disliked among many people, there seems to be no stopping the former businessman and Apprentice host on his way to being anointed the Republican nominee for the White House at the party's convention in July.
