Copenhagen boss Jacob Neestrup believes that Alejandro Garnacho should've been sent off their narrow defeat against Manchester United on Tuesday night.
Harry Maguire scored the only goal of the game as United secured a much-needed first win of their Champions League group stage to keep their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages alive.
The win wasn't without drama though as Copenhagen were awarded a penalty in stoppage time after Scott McTominay's high foot was enough for the referee to point to the spot.
Andre Onana stepped up when United needed him most however and saved the spot kick as Erik ten Hag's side hung on for a vital three points.
After the game, pictures of Garnacho scuffing up the penalty spot before Copenhagen's Jordan Larsson missed from 12 yards and Needstrup believes that the young Argentine should've been punished for his actions and that the penalty should've been retaken.
He said: "It is up to referees and associations to set limits.
"All you have to do is give a red card for something like that, then people stop doing it."
Rasmus Falk, captain of the Danish side, added that it was a "bad style" however ex-Southampton winger Mo Elyounoussi felt that Garnacho's tactics didn't affect the outcome too much.
"I don’t know how much that affected the penalty. Jordan still got a good penalty kick but it was a good save," he said.
"It’s cynicism, it’s part of top football, you really just have to learn more from it."
