Ace Rewcastle, from Portsmouth, arrived on the Caribbean island with his mum and other family members on December 21 to spend Christmas there.
But he fell ill on January 3, and was rushed to hospital with suspected meningitis after developing a rash. His health deteriorated though, and on January 8 he suffered a seizure and a catastrophic bleed on the brain. The youngster never regained consciousness and the next day, he was put into an induced coma and declared brain dead.
