Birmingham airport has been evacuated and all flights grounded.
The alarm was sounded at 13:34 BST this afternoon with the airport announcing it was suspending all operations as buildings were evacuated.
In a statement, West Midlands Police said the airport was being evacuated after a report of a suspicious vehicle.
The incident is being dealt with by Police the airports has said, while also advising passengers not to go near the airport.
Meanwhile the airport has advised people with flights due to contact their airline and await further updates.
