Residents of Belgian capital Brussels have been advised to stay away from large gatherings of people today as for fear of a "serious and imminent threat" of a terror attack.

It has been reported that one of the perpetrators of the Paris attacks, Salah Abdeslam, was apprehended and arrested in Brussels, sparking fears that other terror cells could be operating in the European city.
Brussels was the home of Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the suspected orchestrator of the Paris attacks.
