Apple warn iPhone users of new text and email scam

Apple have issued a warning to iPhone users to be wary of a new phishing scam doing the rounds which attempts to gain access to user's personal information via iCloud.

Users have received texts and emails that read something like this: https://twitter.com/davidvitty/status/721264795840868356 "Your Apple ID is due to expire today. Prevent this by confirming your Apple ID at http://appleexpired.co.uk – Apple Inc." Apple have urged users not to click on the link, which opens to a webpage that requests your iCloud username and password. Here's Apple's official guidelines on dealing with phishing attempts.
