There are 19 gold medals up for grabs on day three and Team GB are in with a chance of claiming their first gold of the games.
Events get underway at 7.30am when Kirsty Gilmour will play Azerbaijan's Keisha Fatimah Azzahra in the women’s singles group play stage in the Badminton.
An hour later at 8.30am our rowers will be back on the water as more of our rowers hope to qualify for the finals.
Just before 9am Team GB will be in action in the men’s team archery competition. The women were knocked out by Germany early on yesterday but can the men go further? Conor Hall, Tom Hall and Alex Wise are in action from 8.30am.
Yesterday there was heartbreak for Chelsie Giles in the Judo as she was knocked out in the first round. At 9am it's the turn of Lele Nairne who takes on Georgia's Eteri Liparteliani.
At the same time over at the Table Tennis, Liam Pitchford will take on Fiji's Vicky Wu in the Men’s singles round of 64.
There is plenty of GB interest in the pool in the morning session as the world champion Freya Colbert looks to make tonight's final of the 400m individual medley. She is joined in the heats by Katie Shanahan. Should they qualify, they will race in the final at 8.30pm.
Tom Daley, who is taking part in his fifth Olympic games will be in action alongside Noah Williams at 10am for the men’s 10m synchro final.
Daley won gold in this event in Tokyo alongside Matty Lee and the pair come into this as the top ranked competitors in the field.
However, they will be up against it to win gold with the Chinese pair of Lian Junjie and Hao Yang, three-time world champions, hopeful of snatching the gold.
While the diving gets underway, so does day three of the eventing. Team GB finished day two in the gold medal position and with just the show jumping to go, they are in a good position to defend their Olympic title.
Just after that at 11am Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski will look to do what Andy Murray and Dan Evans did yesterday and progress to the next round of the men's doubles in the Tennis, perhaps not in such nailbiting fashion - I'm not sure fans could take that again!
After watching Evie Richards finish fifth on the course yesterday, Tom Pidcock looks to defend his Olympic title in the mountain bike event at 1.10pm. Pidcock's teammate, Charlie Aldridge also races.
Team GB are back in women's Rugby Sevens action against South Africa as that mountain biking gets underway. They lost to Australia in their first match and have another tough opponent today as they take on South Africa.
Yesterday’s thrilling women’s K1 canoe slalom which resulted in a bronze medal for Team GB’s Kimberley Woods will hopefully have inspired teammate Adam Burgess who starts his canoe slalom C1 campaign this afternoon with the final scheduled for 4.30pm
He was 0.16 seconds away from a medal in Tokyo so is desperate to improve on that in Paris.
The women’s hockey team has been on the podium in the last two Olympics but are looking to bounce back after they were defeated by Spain in their opening match. They will take on Australia at 4pm.
A highlight of day three will no doubt be the men’s team gymnastics final. Team GB, which includes three-time Olympic gold medallist Max Whitlock, will look to get on the podium at 4.30pm.
Swimmers Matt Richards, who was world champion last year and Duncan Scott will be hopeful of a medal in the men’s 200m freestyle but will face competition from Romania’s David Popovici who has swam a whole second faster than anyone else this year. Their final is scheduled for 7.43pm.
Meanwhile, Angharad Evans swam well in last night’s semi-final of the 100m breaststroke to qualify for tonight’s final and Oliver Morgan surprised everyone with his strong finish to book a place in the 100m backstroke final.
It's a packed day for Team GB who are hopeful of adding to the four medals they have already won at this Olympics.
