A ridiculous amount of people around the world are still without the internet

Well, it turns out that this makes you part of a surprising minority. Sure, in the developed world internet usage has creeped up over 82%, but only 43% of people across the globe have access to the world wide web, according to a new report. This means that around 4 billion people are still not online because of a series of factors - such as the expense of electricity or the lack of internet options in their local language.
