The Prodigy was formed by producer and songwriter Liam Howlett in 1991, with Keith Flint serving as dancer and vocalist.
They helped popularise rave music in the UK, with their first two albums Experience (1992) and Music For The Jilted Generation (1994).
It was their third album Fat of the Land (1997) however, that would propel them to superstardom, with both Firestarter and Breathe hitting number one in the UK charts. That album also contained 'Smack My Bitch Up', which gave us one of the greatest and most controversial music videos of all time.
That was followed by four more studio albums, Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned (2004), Invaders Must Die (2009), The Day Is My Enemy (2015) and No Tourists (2018).
The Progidy was also one of the most exciting and incredible live acts in the world and continued to play to packed crowds throughout their career. Prior to Keith Flint's death, they were due to perform at this year's Glastonbury festival.
