So unique in fact that they're releasing a book that is more a panoramic experience than a bog standard coffee table read. Simply titled BEASTIE BOYS BOOK, it tells the story of the iconic Hip Hop trio, who when they formed in 1981 started out as a New York City hardcore band, by members ADROCK and Mike D, with contributions from Wes Anderson, Spike Jonze, Amy Poehler, Colson Whitehead, Luc Sante and more. With a style as distinctive and eclectic as one of their albums, BEASTIE BOYS BOOK flips the typical music memoir on its head.
