This seems to be due to the fact that September 28 is the day of an expected blood moon - where the moon turns red because the dispersed light from all the Earth’s sunrises and sunsets falls on the face of the moon during an eclipse.
Some believe that the this month's blood moon could bring about an asteroid the that will hit Puerto Rico and will be big enough to cause the end of all life as we know it.

We're no moon experts, but thankfully the people at NASA are - and they've decided to release a statement to calm anyone worried about the end of the world, saying:
'There is no existing evidence that an asteroid or any other celestial object is on a trajectory that will impact Earth. In fact, not a single one of the known objects has any credible chance of hitting our planet over the next century.
"There is no scientific basis, not one shred of evidence, that an asteroid or any other celestial object will impact Earth on those dates.'
