A security staff member has gone viral after being caught removing towels from sunbeds after they'd been placed their by holidaymakers looking to hog the best spot by the pool.
In a video shared on TikTok, the member of staff at the hotel can be seen walking around the sunbeds in the morning and ripping off every towel that had already been placed on a bed.
Sharing the clip from a hotel in Tenerife, @renovatewithroberta wrote: "They should do this everywhere."
Since being posted on TikTok, the clip has racked up thousands of likes.
The comments were overwhelmingly in favour of the staff member's actions, with almost everyone in agreement that there are few more annoying things on holiday than people selfishly hogging sunbeds they aren't sitting in.
One person said: "Spot on, you wouldn't walk into a restaurant and leave your jackets on the chairs to reserve a seat."
Another commented: "I hope this trend is spreading."
Someone else said: "They should do this at all resorts everywhere!"
And a recalled: "As a kid I used throw them in the pool."
