A Scottish punter won a £1million gamble…and doesn’t even realise

A mystery punter walked into a Ladbrokes in Glasgow and stuck £12 on a spin on the Irish Lotto then walked out...never to return It turns out the customer won more than £1million on the gamble after dropping the jackpot on the lottery. But Ladbrokes staff reckon the winner doesn't even know they're sitting on a million-pound ticket. The bet was placed last Wednesday at the bookies in Westmuir Street, Parkhead - near Celtic's ground. Now Ladbrokes are trying to track down the mystery winner to hand over their £1,018,020 prize, according to the Daily Record. This Irish Lotto winner is Scotland's third millionaire winner in the past seven days - after a Howick couple took half of the £66m Lotto jackpot and a lucky punter in Perth won more than £2m gambling on an online fruit machine with Paddy Power.
