BCP council, which manages the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole areas, has confirmed that they will be installing six communal electric barbecues for a two-week trial. They will be issued on a first-come-first-serve basis, meaning you will have to act quickly if you don't want to be super jealous of those grilling burgers, kebabs, and ribs.
The BBQ’s are set to be installed in the next few weeks along Fisherman’s Walk, Branksome Chine, and to the east of Bournemouth Pier. But for those of you who fail to acquire one of these new instalments, BCP has also said that Disposable BBQ’s will still be allowed on the beaches between 6 pm and 10.30 pm provided that they are disposed of safely.
