PS Plus members seem to be delighted with the news.

Sony has revealed what games will become available to PlayStation Plus members from 1 April and one of them is a recent hit based on a classic movie.

This is 2023's Robocop: Rogue City, the first-person shooter game which features an original storyline based on the RoboCop films, with Peter Weller reprising his role as the titular character.

The description of the game from Sony reads: "Become the legendary part-man, part-machine, all cop hero and bring justice to the dangerous, crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit.

Upon release, the game was a hit with players and in terms of sales. A standalone expansion titled RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is even scheduled to be released later in 2025.

PS Plus members seem delighted with the Robocop game coming to the service, with one writing on Reddit user writing: "Holy crap! Robocop is a good get."

Another added: "Robocop is worth the download, it’s neat," while a third said: "Yes! Was waiting on Robocop after it had that massive price drop not long ago."

Also coming to PS Plus in April is another 2023 game based on a classic film - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre on PS4 and PS5, as well Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory on PS4.

All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members from April 1 until May 5. For more information, visit Sony's PlayStation Blog here.
