One of the best PS5 games of all time has been discounted on Amazon for a limited time.

God of War Ragnarök has been discounted to £34.50, which is 51% off its original price, so you can make a big saving on the popular game.

The deal comes as Amazon launches its Prime Day sale across the website between 8-11 July, with thousands of discounts.

However the discounted God of War Ragnarök is a separate deal, so you don't need to be a Prime member to get it – just simply add it to your basket and you'll get the game for half price.

The game is the ninth instalment in the series, and is set in ancient Scandinavia and features series protagonist, Kratos, and his now teenage son, Atreus.

It was originally released back in 2022 for the PS4 and PS5 and received acclaim from critics and fans alike upon release.

God of War Ragnarök went on to become one of the fastest-selling launches in history, with more than 5.1 million copies in its first week.

The popular game also has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 on Amazon from more than 3,000 fans.

One five star reviewer said the game "is everything I hoped for and more" and "easily one of the best games of this generation".

"From the stunning visuals to the deeply emotional story, this game is an absolute masterpiece," they added.

Another said it's a gaming experience "that sets a new standard for action-adventure games".

They continued: "It combines stunning visuals, a gripping narrative, and engaging gameplay."

While a third wrote that they "couldn't stop myself playing", saying "the attention to detail, textures and animations will be hard to top".
