Pringles have announced a brand new flavour, inspired by an American classic taste.
The iconic brand has just unveiled a Blazin’ Fried Chicken flavour for 2025, which will hit supermarket shelves across the UK from January 1.
The spicy new flavour is inspired by Nashville hot chicken, which was voted as one of Pringles fans’ top meat style flavours to try.
Nashville hot chicken chain Dave’s launched in the UK earlier this month, opening its first restaurant in London and reflecting a demand in the country for more southern US flavours.
Pringles' Blazin' Fried Chicken will land in all major retailers in the UK and Ireland on the first day of 2025, priced at £2.50 for a 160g tube.
The new flavour, which is non-HFSS, will join the Pringles Hot range which also includes Flamin’ Cheese, Mexican Chilli & Lime, Smokin’ BBQ Ribs, Kickin’ Sour Cream, and Sweet Chilli.
Seanáin McGuigan, Pringles Brand Manager UKI, said: "Hot and spicy foods have clearly been trending recently. We’ve listened to the demand and are excited to launch Blazin’ Fried Chicken to help satisfy those spicy cravings. What better time to bring the heat than in January? We’re confident that spice-seekers are going to love it."
The news comes just a day after McDonald's announced a new Chicken Katsu wrap will be added to their menu.
On Wednesday, January 8, McDonald’s is kickstarting 2025 with an exciting new food menu, launching in all restaurants in the UK and Ireland and via the McDonald’s app.
The headline addition is 'The Chicken Katsu One' wrap, which when purchased on a Wednesday costs just £1.99.
Inspired by the overwhelmingly popular response to the Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets in 2021, the Chicken Katsu One wrap includes your choice of crispy or grilled chicken, coated in flavourful katsu sauce, packed with crispy onions, crunchy cucumber, and fresh lettuce – all wrapped in a warm, toasted tortilla. It’s the ideal option for a quick, satisfying lunch on the go!

What is wrong with people! There are some food combinations that are meant to be – fish and chips, beans on toast etc – some food combinations that shouldn’t work but do – sweet and salty popcorn, apple with cheese etc – and some food combinations that are just plain wrong.
