Punters started queueing outside Strangers at 47 from 7.45am. Wristbands were distributed half an hour before the event, sort of like a VIP lounge but with extra beef.
The chain’s special foreign events manager Eric Billings said: “We sold out in less than 30 minutes time, even before the event started.”

Some fans even advertised plain buns for sale.
Priced between £0.90-1.80 for just the burger and £3.50 for a full set including drinks and french fries, the burgers were considered a steal.
