Nando's has released a new sauce flavour in the run up to Halloween with a tangy twist on their classic peri-peri sauces.
The iconic chicken restaurant has teamed up with popular fizzy drink brand Fanta to concoct a new and taste-bud tingling sauce.
The chain claimed that the Fanta Orange Zero Sugar drink goes "hand in hand" with Nando's peri-peri sauce and that the new spice has a "sweet and tangy" orange flavour.
This new combo will likely appeal to fans of the milder Nando's spices since the new sauce only has slight kick to it with it ranking between Mild and Medium the chain's "PERi-ometer".
Nando's fans will be able to sample the new sauce across a range of chicken dishes including the Nando's x Fanta chicken wings which go for £7.25 or £12.95 with two regular sides.
For those vegetarians out there you can also get the sauce with the vegan and veggie options at the chain such as the "Great Imitation" wrap, the Beanie Burger and the Mushroom and Halloumi Pitta.
The fizzy drink sauce isn't the only fresh item hitting the menu at Nando's with a new starter in the form of a Cheesy Garlic Pitta served with red pepper chutney hitting chains for £4.75.
Meanwhile, in the mains section a new burger is set to be unveiled with the Cheesy "Chickle" Burger which features a grilled chicken breast with melted cheddar cheese a variety of sauces and herby pickles served in a Portuguese roll.
There will also be a new sharing platter for two introduced retailing for £33.75.
The new items were added to Nando's menus across the UK and Ireland from today.
