The new 'Show Me The Honey' ale is specially crafted to match the sweet and savoury flavours, with the honey-flavoured ale complementing the honey BBQ sauce of the pizza.
"We were keen to replicate the pizza’s aroma and taste in the flavour profile of Show Me The Honey," SEVEN BRO7HERS Brewer Jack Dixon said. "To capture the perfect pairing, the team sampled each of the toppings here in the brewery and mapped out the brew based on the flavour notes we needed to hit."
Chicago Town spokesperson Rachel Bradshaw added: "What better way to celebrate International Beer & Pizza Day than to create a beer inspired by the bold flavours of our new Stuffed Crust Takeaway Sweet Honey BBQ Salami."
The beer will only be available for a limited period, until October 31st.
The Stuffed Crust Takeaway Sweet Honey BBQ Salami has an MRRP £4.49 and is available from most major supermarkets, while SEVEN BRO7HERS Show Me The Honey beer can be purchased from October via its online beer shop.
