They can be so painful and disorientating that people affected by them will try anything to get rid of them, so its no wonder one method of doing so has gone viral in recent weeks.
A YouTube video, ‘How To Get Rid Of Headache Or Migraine In 2 Minutes Or Less’, originally posted by Kamil’s View in 2012, has attracted a lot of attention of late, with many who watched it claiming that the method contained within it actually works.

That method consists solely of Kamil asking three questions about the headache.
"Where is your headache?"
"What colour is it?"
"What shape is it?"
Those questions are repeated throughout the video with Kamil claiming after two minutes that the headache should be gone, simple as that.
Although Kamil has no medical expertise and doesn’t claim to have any, he does say that he has helped numerous people with “headaches, sleep patterns, and other health issues” and this particular video has been viewed over 1.7 million times at the time of writing.
Though YouTube comments can’t really be relied upon as a barometer of reliability, many of them below the video rave about the method, with one commenter calling him a “wizard” and more claiming that it “actually worked”.
You’re not going to find it in a medical journal anytime soon, but if it does what it claims to do then it’s probably worth a shot, right?
