US Powerlifting monster squats a record 425kg

Here's one guy that never misses a leg day - US powerlifting monster Ray Williams.

The hulking American athlete made short work of this eye-popping 425kg squat - and smashed a world record to boot. With the bar bending and a team of nervous-looking spotters watching his back, Williams banged out the rep with ease. His lifting total at the IPC Powerlifting Championships in Finland was a ridiculous 1000.5kg (2,206lbs) which happens to be yet another world record.
